Brittany Linton
My name is Brittany Linton. I have played fastpitch softball for twelve
years. I traveled all over the country playing softball with several different
organizations such as the Georgia Fire, East Cobb Bullets, and the Georgia
Xtreme.
I played for the Lassiter High School Lady Trojans’ varsity team for all four
years of high school. I received the Rookie of the Year Award, Most Valuable
Player Award, and I was also nominated as the Marietta Daily Journal Pitcher of
the Year for two years in a row. I was also recognized on the All-Region and
All-State teams my junior and senior year at Lassiter.
Following high school I played division II ball at Carson-Newman College in
Jefferson City, Tennessee. I was apart of one South Atlantic Conference
Championship title and two South Atlantic Conference Tournament titles.

I have now completed my playing career and have started to pass on my knowledge
of the game through coaching, and instructing girls fastpitch softball at
Premier Sport Services. I am also currently working on a degree in nutrition at
Georgia State University and I hope to be able to apply that knowledge in the
sports field one day in the future.
